Every drop counts: water conservation on campus
With the City of Calgary enacting Stage 4 outdoor water restrictions, we are strictly limiting our outdoor water usage. In addition, everyone is being asked to reduce indoor water use to help maintain supply for critical functions. On campus, that means the steam rooms in Recreation are closed and there are changes in cleaning processes, among other measures. Learn more about what Mount Royal is doing to reduce water use and how you can contribute to this important effort.
Transition in HR leadership
Associate Vice-President, Human Resources, Arleen Gallo is semi-retiring when her contract expires at the end of June 2025. The University extends our deepest gratitude to Arleen for her significant contributions and unwavering dedication to Mount Royal. Her leadership has been instrumental in shaping the HR department and supporting the growth and success of Mount Royal.
This transition period will ensure continuity and stability within the HR department as the University embarks on a comprehensive search for a new leader. More information will be provided as the process develops.
