Welcome to Community Engagement

The University Advancement division has changed its name to the division of Community Engagement (DCE). A vital part of MRU’s brand is our deep connection to internal and external communities. Community engagement is part of our identity, and our new branding of “Grow Beyond” goes further to demonstrate MRU’s commitment to community.

Community engagement is woven into the division’s work in alumni relations, marketing, communications, government relations and fundraising. As part of this change, the division also welcomes the Office of Equity, Diversity and Inclusion.

The Community Engagement name reaffirms the team’s commitment to the internal community, using language that the external community understands. You can reach the team at CommunityEngagement@mtroyal.ca.
