Masks are required in Wellness Services (U216)
While masking is no longer required on campus, anyone entering Wellness Services in U216 to access the Health Services Medical Clinic or MRU Injury & Prevention Clinic is required to wear a mask. Please remember to bring a mask for your appointment.

Practise health measures to risk transmission risks
Masks are not required in shared or public spaces but supported based on individual comfort levels. Mount Royal continues to monitor conditions and follow all AHS guidelines. Vaccination is strongly encouraged.

Submit requests to Facilities Management using Frontline
This online system is the best way to submit and track requests involving key/access cards, building maintenance and repairs, furniture requests and more. If a request is related to medical accommodation through HR, please note this in your request description. Employees can access Frontline from home following the simple steps described here.

Use your OneCard for most main building entrances
Employees can enter perimeter doors using their OneCard. Card readers have been installed at Gauthier Court, Memorial Garden (by Starbucks), theatre perimeter doors, the O/T-wing crossover and all perimeter doors to EA, EB and EC. East Gate and West Gate doors are unlocked most of the day. Building hours for employees are from 5:30 a.m. to 11:30 p.m. More information on available services and opening hours is available here.

Culligan water deliveries to resume Aug. 17
Automatic delivery of Culligan water to office areas will resume on Aug. 17. Regular service was suspended during the past year and half. Delivery on demand is available until mid-August.

Grand & Toy desktop deliveries to resume Aug. 17
Departments needing office supplies no longer need to have Grand & Toy deliveries sent to Receiving. Please bundle your department orders to a minimum of $50 and ask Grand & Toy to deliver directly to your area.

Kerby Hall entrances locked next week
Please be advised that the entrances into Kerby Hall will be closed for building envelope repairs from Monday, July 26 to Tuesday, Aug. 3. Sure-Seal will be working on replacing the caulking on the exterior brick joints, doors and windows. Do not cross the barricades or safety tape as this involves high work on heavy equipment where operators may not have full view of their surroundings.

Free hydrotherapy treatments
Students in the Massage Therapy Diploma program are seeking clients for their hydrotherapy clinics in August. For more details and to sign up, go here.

Cougar Classic Golf Tournament
The Cougar Classic Golf Tournament, taking place at the Cottonwood Golf and Country Club on Aug. 19, is always a top summer event for MRU. Enjoy lunch, golf, cocktails and prizes ― all while showing support for the MRU Cougars and student-athlete scholarships.
